Primary Source Reflection-
A primary source that was utilized in my project was the letter from a soldier to his wife. I used this source because It provided an insight to the thoughts and views of an actual person involved in the war. It did not contain many important facts, but I thought it was important because it appealed to my emotional sense, and I could really tell how the soldier was feeling at the time. In this situation, it is good not just to rely on textbook information like facts, but to have some variation in your sources in order to truly grasp the material. I know the source was reliable because it is from a soldiers first hand experience, so the things he said came straight from personal encounters.

All of the information stated in the book is factual, and important to know. This textbook has been widely accepted by teachers everywhere.
